The exercise improved the abilities of participating individuals by practicing a variety of aerial insertion tactics from both fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, according to a release. Additionally, the exercise included the first-ever Chinook helicopter airborne operations training in the Eastern Theater.

The training gave the soldiers a great chance to improve their operational knowledge, which is crucial for quick deployment and mission preparedness. According to the announcement, the exercise demonstrated the vital role airborne troops play in contemporary military strategy by facilitating prompt and decisive response in a variety of operational circumstances.

The success of integrated training programs is shown by this combined action, which perfectly demonstrates the synchronization between the Indian Army and Indian Air Force. The Indian Army and Indian Air Force’s dedication to maintaining a high standard of readiness and encouraging cooperation in the face of changing security threats is further shown by the exercise’s successful conclusion. For the country’s defense forces to be flexible, nimble, and prepared to handle any situation, such training programs are essential.

Air Force Chief Marshal AP Singh and Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi flew together in the country’s Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) Tejas on Sunday.

In addition to being a personal milestone for the two coursemates, this first-ever flight with two chiefs in the cockpit highlights the increasing integration and cooperation between the Indian Army and the Indian Air Force (IAF).

“It was my life’s greatest moment. As you know, my coursemate, Air Chief Marshal AP Singh, and I have been friends since our NDA days. I would have switched my choice to the Air Force if we had met sooner. As I previously said, I would have become a fighter pilot if I had joined the Air Force. As of right now, AP Singh is also my mentor. I enjoyed it. I have to respect the level of difficulty that Air Force pilots face. “Aero India 2025 is off to a strong start,” Dwivedi told reporters.
