Governor Jishnu Verma honoured officers and cadets of Telangana contingent at Raj Bhavan on the occasion of Republic Day
Hyderabad: At a special event on Monday at Raj Bhavan, Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma congratulated the officers and cadets who represented Telangana at the Republic Day Parade Contingent 2025.

In honor of their accomplishments at the nation’s capital on Republic Day, the Governor gave top NCC officials and contingent members mementos.
The Governor praised the National Cadet Corps’ (NCC) importance in forming young minds and instilling in them a sense of social duty, discipline, and leadership.
The Telangana governor stressed that NCC training camps provide cadets the skills they need to grow up to be responsible and diligent citizens, according to an official statement from the Raj Bhavan.
Speaking to the cadets, the governor emphasized the value of NCC in developing discipline, leadership, bravery, and self-assurance. He called on academic institutions to aggressively promote more student involvement in the NCC.
The governor also gave mementos to the senior NCC officials and contingent members as a way of congratulating them on their accomplishments during the event.
Smita Sabharwal, IAS, Principal Secretary, Youth Advancement, Tourism and Culture; Dr. Yogita Rana, IAS, Secretary, Education Department; senior NCC officers; G Pallavi, Deputy Secretary to the Governor; and other Raj Bhavan officials attended the event along with VM Reddy, Deputy Director General, NCC TS and AP.
