Minor was injected with unknown substance in school, after which Mumbai Police begins investigation

Mumbai: According to sources, Mumbai police have opened an investigation after a complaint was filed by the parents of a little girl who claimed that an unidentified male had given their daughter an injection on school property.

Police claim that the incident happened on January 31 and that a complaint was used to file a case.

Up to five teams have been established, according to officials, and an investigation into the issue has been started.

Authorities said that no suspicious persons were seen entering or leaving the school after examining the CCTV video taken there.

According to the complaint, the girl claimed that an anonymous guy had given her an injection of an unspecified chemical; however, there were no claims of physical abuse or molestation connected to the occurrence.

According to Mumbai police, the child has no negative consequences from the injection and her health is stable.

The event was being investigated further by the police.
