Pakistani security forces killed four TTP terrorists during an operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: According to ARY News, four Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants, also known as Khwarij, were slain by Pakistani security forces during an operation in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reports that Pakistani security personnel carried out an intelligence-based operation in Dera Ismail Khan’s Kaulachi neighborhood.
During the operation, the military shot and killed four TTP insurgents.
As the security forces shot down six TTP militants on Thursday, a Pakistan Army major and a soldier were killed in an intelligence-based operation in North Waziristan.
The operation was carried out in the Mir Ali neighborhood of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s North Waziristan district, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
According to ARY News, the military engaged in gunfire at the TTP’s position and killed six terrorists while also reporting two casualties: Sepoy Muhammad Naeem, 26, and Major Hamza Israr, 29.
The ISPR said that the security forces are committed to eliminating the threat of terrorism and that the valiant warriors’ sacrifices only serve to fortify our determination.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said earlier on January 24 that security forces had successfully killed six terrorists who were trying to enter Balochistan’s Zhob area from the Pakistan-Afghanistan border.
According to Interpol, “On [the] night of 22/23 January, the movement of a group of khwarij, who were trying to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was picked up by the security forces in the general area of Sambaza, Zhob District.” “Khwarij” is a reference to the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), which is prohibited.
“Own troops successfully engaged and thwarted their attempt to infiltrate,” the statement said. Six Khwarij were thus condemned to damnation. During the operation, security personnel also retrieved a sizable stash of explosives, ammo, and guns.
In order to stop terrorists from using Afghan territory, the ISPR reaffirmed Pakistan’s long-standing demand that the interim Afghan government provide efficient border administration on its side. “The interim Afghan administration has been repeatedly asked by Pakistan to provide efficient border control on their side of the border. It is anticipated that the interim Afghan government would fulfill its responsibilities and prevent Khwarij from using Afghan territory to carry out terrorist attacks against Pakistan,” the statement said.
