Amit Shah inaugurated a newly built sports complex near the Science City side

Gandhinagar: According to a statement, Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah officially opened a brand-new sports facility in Gota Ward, North-West Zone, next to the Science City side of the CIMS Railway overbridge. The complex was developed by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation at an estimated cost of Rs 3.50 crore.

Following the plaque’s installation, the dignitaries had a tour of the sports facility. According to the statement from the release, the Union Home Minister was also shown a presentation on the future Iconic Road project, which is being planned by the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation and would run from Iskcon to Pakwan.

Experts also offered a suggested remedy to reduce traffic near Ahmedabad’s Palladium Mall. The Union Minister and other dignitaries provided insightful advice and recommendations after the speeches.

In addition to local leaders, bureaucrats, and Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation members, the ceremony was attended by Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain, Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation Chairman of the Standing Committee Devang Dani, and Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner M. Thennarasan.

At a cost of Rs 3.50 crore, the recently erected activities complex in Gota Ward has facilities for a number of activities, including volleyball, pickleball, basketball, box cricket, and table tennis. Residents may also play a variety of indoor games, including carrom, ludo, chess, and snooker.

According to an official release, the home minister previously dedicated and laid the groundwork for 37 public benefit projects in Ahmedabad totaling over Rs 651 crores.

State Minister Jagdish Vishwakarma, Cabinet Minister Rushikesh Patel, and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel attended the event. In the Lok Sabha seats of Gandhinagar, Ahmedabad East, and Ahmedabad West, the Union Home Minister laid the groundwork for 27 projects totaling Rs 556 crores and officially opened 10 projects totaling Rs 95 crores.

Speaking to the crowd, Shah emphasized that the occasion honored the great leader by falling on the anniversary of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s birth. He commended Netaji’s contribution to the Indian independence cause and reminded the audience of his famous catchphrases, “Chalo Dilli” and “Tum Mujhe Khoon Do, Main Tumhe Azadi Dunga.”
