Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami did a road show for the civic elections
Dehradun: According to a statement from the chief minister’s office, Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami organized a roadshow in Dehradun on Tuesday to promote the party’s mayoral candidate, Saurabh Thapliyal. This came just before the civic election campaign came to a conclusion.
Workers took part in the roadshow in great numbers. Locals greeted CM Dhami with garlands and flowers in numerous locations. People were spotted yelling pro-CM Dhami chants wherever the roadshow went.
Beginning from the BJP Metropolitan Office, CM Dhami’s road tour traveled past Parade Ground, Ghantaghar, and Paltan Bazaar to Raja Road Main Road Tiraha.
“Our government has been committed to the overall development of Dehradun,” the chief minister said after the roadshow. Numerous projects have been completed in the city as part of Smart City. To ease traffic in Dehradun, a number of projects, including the construction of a ring road, would be undertaken after the establishment of the triple-engine government.
For the development of Dehradun, the chief minister also urged people to vote for the BJP on January 23.
CM Dhami said earlier in the day that the state’s voters would once again back the triple-engine BJP in the next local body elections, just as they did when they elected a double-engine administration.
In an interview with the media, Dhami praised the people for choosing a two-pronged administration and emphasized the BJP’s strong support in the state.
“The people of Uttarakhand will elect the BJP in municipal elections, just as they did the double-engine government. I express my gratitude to everyone who has consistently supported the BJP. CM Dhami said, “I think the BJP will be elected to form a double-engine government in the national capital, and the Delhi public will also support our party in large numbers.”
Voting is planned for January 23 by the Commission, and the vote count is slated for January 25.
