New Delhi: Independent MP Pappu Yadav of Purnia, Bihar, is campaigning for the Congress in the Delhi elections. “Arvind Kejriwal uses public funds to advertise,” Pappu Yadav said. Not one promise has been kept by Arvind Kejriwal. Now, what new pledges are you making? What would you do if such a strong prime minister failed to keep even one pledge over the course of 11 years? Congress will be in your memory.

Devendra Yadav, the president of the Delhi Congress and the contender for the Badli Assembly seat, had earlier said that he was certain his party would win the assembly election, stating that the people of Delhi are fed up with the AAP’s leadership and have resolved to build a powerful Congress administration.

“Today, the people of Delhi are troubled by the rule of AAP, whether it is the problem of the poor’s pension, ration card, or dirty water,” Yadav told the media report. Arvind Kejriwal’s lofty pledges to the Delhi populace have come to light. He hasn’t started a new Mohalla clinic or school. In 2025, the people have decided to construct a powerful Congress government.

On February 5, the Delhi Assembly elections will be held in a single phase, with the vote count scheduled on February 8. There are 699 contestants vying for Delhi’s 70 assembly seats.

The Congress, which ruled Delhi for 15 years in a row, has lost both of the most recent assembly elections and has not been able to secure any seats. In comparison, the BJP only received three and eight seats in the 2015 and 2020 assembly elections, while the AAP won 67 and 62 seats out of a total of 70 seats.
